MARY GEHNYEI

Mary Gehnyei, a multidisciplinary artist from Rome with Liberian roots, developed a passion for music at 15, becoming an MC in the electronic music scene.

She has a deep love for vinyl records and has built her career on key experiences, becoming an eclectic black female DJ who breaks stereotypes and celebrates diversity.

Mary began DJing in 2016, achieving significant milestones by 2018, such as opening for Andrew Weatherall and performing with K-Hand.

A notable recent collaboration includes her set for NTS Radio and DIESEL.

She continues to prefer vinyl over digital formats and has started teaching DJing, focusing exclusively on vinyl.
